(cichorium intybus L) Another of the herby ones. Looks a bit like a dock leaf but its really palatable to stock so throw a couple kg in the mix for cattle, lambs or deer. Thrives in spring and summer producing buckets of feed - dormant though in the winter. Graze it quite hard in early spring as it will rush away to flower and turn horrible and woody if given a chance - then no one wants to eat it. Can standing cutting to keep it manageable.
