JAPANESE MILLET

(Echinochloa esculenta).  This is a great crop for cows who will  really go crazy when they see it.  Likes the warmer climate and plant after Nov 15 (we always say).  1.5metres in height and matures in 45-60 days. Give it a light graze early and feed it Urea.  Can be feedout or backfenced.  High Protein and produces 5-8 tons of Hay per hectare. Ring for price on 50kg plus
