Coccidiosis is a  very common intestinal parasite that can  affect birds from 3 weeks old. The parasite multiplies in the gut of the chick and rapidly spreads where birds are living closely together. It can lead to dead, stunted and sick chicks.

The first signs of coccidiosis can be bloody poop.
