Flame is an elite Tall Fescue that maintains a very dark green, fine texture, even with less inputs.

Flame is extremely heat and drought tolerant and can be mown lower than some other Tall Fescues. Flame was entered in the most rigorous grass trialling across 8 Universities in the USA to prove it could maintain excellent grass quality when given reduced water, fertiliser, and pesticides, making it the perfect choice for a beautiful but tough lawn.

Pros

• Very dark green
• Finer than most other Tall Fescues
• Can be mown lower than other Tall Fescues. Flame can be maintained as low as 25-30mm provided it has sufficient nutrition and water. It will thrive at 50mm height of cut.

Cons

Not suitable for high shade areas. Not suitable for very low mown lawns.
