Contains: 70% Turf Tall Fescue, 20% Turf Ryegrass, 10% Kentucky Bluegrass.
Survivor is built to handle heat, drought, and long dry summers without missing a beat. Most of the mix is Turf Type Tall Fescue, chosen for its heat and drought tolerance and naturally dark green colour. Turf Ryegrass is blended in for better density and wear tolerance, along with faster germination and establishment.
Kentucky Bluegrass rounds out the mix, spreading through rhizomes running just below the surface. This helps knit the lawn together once established and reduces the clumping that can sometimes happen with Tall Fescue and Ryegrass on their own.

Not particularly. Survivor is only moderately shade tolerant and performs best in full sun. For lawns with more shade, our Fine Fescue grass seed range, including Made for Shade, is better fit to cope with lower light.
Sow it in the warmer months, from September through to April, or whenever soil temperatures are between 12°C and 25°C.
Once established, Survivor needs less irrigation and fertiliser than many other lawns, though it performs best when it gets both. A wetting agent can help water move through the soil more effectively during dry spells.
